House #23: A barn

Not wanting to let a client slip away and cleverly having ascertained that we like space and wanted to maybe do somewhere up to our likeing with lots of exposure to light, Derek led us through the countryside and past a great many very remote farms to this beautiful stone barn, way out in the middle of nowhere.

Well, out in the middle of nowhere if you don't count the one house visible anywhere nearby, continuously occupied and comfortably located 15 feet from the barn itself. A little close for comfort perhaps, but let's have a look inside:

Fair enough. It's a barn. But in fact it's not a particularly big barn as barns go. La Vacquerie was nearly twice the size, and with more land. And prettier land. And the same price.

It did have a huge and beautiful barn owl inside it though. Funny place for a barn owl, eh?
